But age doesn't define me. My hometown doesn't define me. My identity doesn't define me either. And neither do my interests; they're always changing because I'm always changing.

I’d rather have us go on a picnic and sit on a blanket laid upon grass than go to a fancy restaurant sitting on embroidered custom-made chairs.
I’d rather take a walk around with you than take a ride in a foreign sports car.
I’d rather read a book while snuggling up next to you than separately scan our smart phones and keep to ourselves.
I’d rather take pictures of you and the places we go than admire those that do not relate to me, or to you, or to us.
I’d rather confront you and maybe fight occasionally than keeping silent and bottling in negative feelings towards each other.
I’d rather sit with you while you create your music than pay loads of money to attend a concert of people performing whom I do not know and do not love.
Simply stated, I’d rather be with you over essentially everyone and everything else.
